I need an exhaust system...
Ok... my dual exhaust system needs to be replaced. The driver-side exhaust hanger bracket rusted off the frame. When the tailpipe was too heavy for the exhaust canister, it created a crack right where the outlet in the muffler is located.
I took her to the muffler shop to get the bracket welded back on and the crack in the muffler welded shut.
The guy said that whoever put the exhaust system on, put the tailpipes too close to the suspension (rear leafs perhaps?) and every time there's a good amount of travel in the suspension, it hits the tailpipe.
He did a quick tack weld to the bracket and didn't charge me 'cause he knew it was gonna eventually fall off again. The crack couldn't be welded, so I gotta use some exhaust putty to make a temporary fix.
Any suggestions to what brand muffler I should get? Keep in mind I don't have a job yet and money is VERY limited. :(

I don't care about sound (although anything louder than STOCK would be good). lol
If I have to go back to stock and a one tailpipe system, then so be it. Price-wise, I think that'd run me $150 if I struggle with it myself or $250 if I have a muffler shop install it.

One exhaust I would take a look at is Dynomax, I hear it not too loud but ut is louder than stock.

UPDATE:
I was driving by Monroe Muffler and decided to stop in there and just check it out... couldn't hurt, right?
WRONG!!!!!!!!
Now my pocket is $20 lighter 'cause they were willing to weld the bracket back to the frame and weld the exhaust canister crack back up.
Sounds a lot quieter now.... but not "stock" quiet.
