hood fitting?

will kyles 01 hood fit on my 98 with my grill and lights?

I don't believe so. I know an 01 will fit an 01-03, not sure about a 98

Nah, it won't fit. The grill, header panel...nothing will line up. If it did, I'd do the swap on mine!

yes it will fit....its been done quite a bit...i will do it as soon as i find a good price on a hood

1999 with a 01 edge hood

i know there has been a thread abot this before but....wii that hood bolt straight up no problem or do you have to mod it?

why were on the subject of hoods i want a carbon fiber hood for my ranger but the only carbon fiber i could find is on a explorer... everything else fits will that fit???

everyone has said that it is direct bolt up. i have heard that at the corners of the grill it is a little funny but not enough to matter... if it was that big of a deal then tons of people over on rps would not have done it.

watch out for the hood on ebay... its still gonna end up costing you about $250 to get that hood... check your local j/y you can probably get a better deal.

it does if we do a conversion but that included rewelding in a new radiator support beleave me the thought has crossed my mind. but I have ALWAYS wanted a splash and i think i am going to leave it that way lol

BUT im pretttty positive that its still a fiberglass hood with carbon fiber veneer, so dont think its gonna be a feather either...

Depending on how bad the hood was on your Splash -- swap the scooop'ed hood onto the Splash, paint that one -- and do something wild with your Silver beast's hood from the Splash.

That scoop'd look bad-butt on the Splash!

that also says edge will that fit a xlt???

plus im looking for the strait carbon fiber look no fiber glass... hrm if ima be paying that much i want to be sure

adam I am going to get a new hood for my splash from the junk yard and put a mustang scoop on it also. so both my trucks will have it
