LOL good find though Zach....I'm at work and still might bid on it. It would look good with a big Ford oval on the front of it.

I'm interested to see how much it goes for.

yes the stainless one isnt near as strong, but it helps keep snow out of the engine when busting drifts, and it has many other advanatages over not having one at all.

Free…Lucky. I thought about bidding but I'm waiting for either the black factory one, or find someone to fab one similar but stronger.

I have the same one on my 2000. It looks good but as for busting drifts snow just goes through where the towhooks are and gets packed in there good. I had the same problem with the transfer case skidplate. Snow got packed up in there turning my transfer case into an icecude and wouldn't shift outta 4wd. Knnocked all the ice out and drove around the parking lot to warm things up a bit and it was then able to shift out.

OK enough with the chatter.....itz not a really strong skidplate but it will work for a bit. Anything is better than nothing.

I have that same one on my truck and they sure do look pretty. Mine has some minor dings and scratches but I take it easy and it's holding up fine.

i have the same one on my truck. and ya know, griggs is overly ruff on his poor lil ranger. for most of us who do minimal offroading this is a great deal, and it keeps your engine CLEAN. while it might not be as structually strong, as long as you dont go rock climbing on it itll last a LONG time, and not only that, but it looks good from a distance if you keep it waxed.

Yea, yall aren't building my confidence of the strenth of this thing. And ever pic i see of griggs truck there is water up to the hood. But I am getting in the habbit of stuff like that. I was thinking it would help keep some mud out of the engin?
