clicking noise when driving

When I'm driving, there's this clicking noise. You can only hear it when the windows are down. And the clicking gets faster when I accelerate, but only until a certain speed will the clicking stop getting faster and just 'stabilize' to a steady click. It then slows down when I begin to brake. The sound is more noticeable when the passenger window is down, so I think it's coming from that side. Any ideas?

That's what gave me clicking for like 2 days. Rock from my sisters gravel drive way in my driver front tires. Of course I didn't figure it out until after I removed the wheel and did a big scavenger hunt of the front driver suspension lol.

That's definitely a possibility that I never really thought of- we got our dirt road re-graveled with bigger rocks. I'll have to check it out. I hope this is all it really is and nothing major.

If that's not the problem another thing to look at would be a CV shaft... they can make a clicking noise when worn!

Turns out it was a big honkin' rock in the front passenger tire treads. It was wedged in there pretty good.
