If you mean the instrument panel cluster then no Sir.
If I remember correct the last time I swapped mine (also running a 98!) there were 6 #194 (the black *****) and 17 or so #74 (tan *****).
It's an easy job, just a pain in the butt getting into some of the spots with the ratchet/drivers.
The blower motor/heat controls are also #194's (two of them for that cluster).

Mine is a 98 3 liter V6 manual.
I doubt there is any variance between models for our year as far as the cluster panel goes.
I just checked again and yes it is quantity 6 #194 bulbs and quantity 17 #74 bulbs!
The bulbs are dirt cheap as far as price goes.
I had almost every bulb burned out prior to. Was down to getting ready to driving with a flashlight in the passenger seat if I drove at night so I could check gauges before I replaced mine! lol
