I have a 2008 Ranger, regular cab,2WD, 4cyl., with a 5 speed automatic that shifts on the column, does anyone know of a floor shift conversion kit that could be used on this model?

Are you wanting to keep it automatic.

 

Yes, just want it to shift on the floor like my other vehicle which is also automatic..

 

Don't know of anyone who has done it.

 

I have seen a mustang floor shifter done, but it was in conjunction with a 5.0 swap. It should still be possible for you though

 

Hopefully someone here has done it and maybe there is a kit out there that would be compatible. It would be nice to get into my truck and not have to grab for a stick that doesn't exist, or get in my SUV and not go for a column shift that isn't there.

Besides, it would be just plain cool!

 

Not sure about the cool factor but cool is an opinion, lol.
