crashed! :/

crashed the ranger last tuesday. some lady ran across the street, everyone hit the brakes, swerved, and i wasn't able to stop in time. rear ended a civic. the lady i hit only spoke armenian, so i was trying to get her to hold her head straight, cuz she was holding her neck. i was pretty shaken up. first accident since i started driving 16 years ago. the lady that ran across the road continued running away. drove the truck home afterwards, the bumper hanging on. super sore the next morning. dropped it off at the body shop. the assessor called later and said the damage is $4,003.62. :/

You did a number on the car. Your Ranger isn't too bad. Insurance rates will stink now, especially if she claims she is hurt.

I lightly rear-ended a Honda Accord about a year ago, absolultley no damage to my truck but the stupid plastic bumpers on these new cars just smash and I jacked up the trunk lid on their car. It did a good $3,500 damage to their car and none to mine. All vehicals should have metal bumpers!
