at least when the changes come, he can pick and choose how much he wants and doesn't want.

your age is a big factor. you are high risk. i'm high risk and i'm 30 because i drive for a living. since your truck is a classic, you should look into getting classic insurance. it has to do with getting an apraisal and you are limited on your milage and where you drive it. there is other things that come with it but i'm not sure about what that entails.

also, my first insured vehicle was a 85 bronco, 6" lift w/ 35"s. if these places say "we don't insure modified vehicles" find a new place. look for a broker. they will find you the cheapest. the bronk cost me $2400 a year. that was liability only w/ i can't even remember for a payout incase anything bad happened. my dedutible was $500 or $1000. (it's been so long....)

last note, i pay $230/month for full and renters'. i've got a couple speeding tickets and one is about to go away. once it does, i can sign with a better company that charges similar to patricks' post. i think it drops to $70 for the truck and like 10 or 15% of that for my renters'.

Yea, insurance here sucks *****. I pay $396 a month for full insurance on my truck and car, I have renters and health insurance. I'm rather paranoid and don't want to lose my car or truck lol. Also, I'm with Statefarm. Every where else though has quoted me for like $500+ a month... I don't get it. Some people have cheap insurance and others get raped.

Damn you are paying a lot for your insurance, when I started driving about 2 years ago I was only paying $3000 for liability. Now after 2 years of driving and perfect driving record I only paying 1200 for liability.

so some people are paying more then i, cause it works out to be 370 for full coverage a month, and seeing that some people pay around 400 - 500 dollars, mmakes me feel better,

@ atrocity.
I would, but then the problem is if i were to get in an accident, it would make there insurance go up. so i said i would just go under my own name,

On a Second note.
my mother Called up TD, and they said they would insure me but iv got to call in, since its my truck, Crazy thing is that usually they wont, but since we have house insurance with them i don't have to have insurance with some one else for 5 years before going with them , and people say they have REally Cheap Insurance, ill Report back and let you know if it is :)

eh.. my insurance company paid out, $250,000.00 PLUS attorney fees on my behalf, and my insurance only went up $400 a year...

so, for full coverage on the ranger, and liability only on my 95 E350... $2100... for 300/500 then a 1 million umbrella... and my homeowners which is like 500ish...and my business insurance which is 100K liability is $400ish

$10,000 in cash, all $100's will cover, an area 4 feet, x 5 feet in a single layer. mulitply that by 25x

but thats a strike against you. Ok it cost you nothing, plan on a 'small' increase enxt year, probably like $100 more per year... if you have 2 or more, they will most likely drop you.

Lol mine is $80 a month. I'm 17, with one accident where I totaled the other car.

Progressive.

Granted though, I am the "secondary driver" of my own vehicle. Is that insurance fraud? lol

My parents pay insurance on the Ranger until I graduate college
