Place to buy parts in Washington State
Howzit all,
In cold rainy Washington right now and looking for a place to buy some stuff for my ranger. Looking for a good wrecking yard. Jus need a few interior and exterior pieces, nothing serious. Does anyone have advice or a recommendation as to where a good wrecking yard would be? I did run into two ********* that wanted to charge me new prices for used parts. Gave em both the bird and need to find a place where some moron isn't gonna try to play games and rip me off thinking I'm some stoopid tourist. Anyway, all help is greatly appreciated. Thanx

Boy, thanks DAD for reminding me. Why don't you zip it and spend your time on your own kids? Heck I'm probably old enough to be your dad (and good thing I'm not!).
BTW, I'll continue to curse like a sailor, or a pirate arrrrrrrrrrrr

James, I am on the eastern side of the state and I don't know much about the Everett area but I am sure whatever you find would be great. The greater Seattle area is big enough that you should fairly easily find what you are looking for. As for how they treat you I'm not sure but I guess you could always leave and go somewhere else. Sorry I couldn't help.

I've heard of a couple places up in the north there but the only one I've been to is out by monroe. You obviously have internet access so I'd look it up online 'cause there's only one guy on the site who's closer than I am to Everett.... I know there's 2 or 3 within 30 minutes of there just don't know what or where... sorry
EDIT: Took me 30 seconds to find this one....

im the guy right next to everett, lol. and as far as my search has led me, theres nothing worth going to around here. there's a junkyard in marysville that specializes in ford ranger parts, but the prices there are ridiculous. i refuse to go there, and will not recommend that place to anyone.
i went in there once looking for a factory fog light switch, and they wanted to charge me about $35 for a switch! went on ebay and got it for $.99!

Thanks for the heads up. Didn't find a damn thing. Nobody had anything and anybody that did, wanted an arm and a leg for it. Example, my ol ladies head unit in her RAV-4 went out. The thing is tape/CD. A yard in Bothel wanted $250 and couldn't even guarantee that it would work. I'm dissapointed in WA. Where are the junk police to stop these thieven bastards

Port Angeles....hmmmm, parts+surfing= MY IDEAL PLACE TO VACATION. Subtract the ol lady and her "need 4 culture" and I can actually enjoy the trip. See some of you in March/April, maybe sooner
