hi yall im new here and a few months ago I bought my first ranger and love it! It's a 2009 ranger sport with a tonneau cover, step rails, bed rails, bed liner, in dash nav and small sound system and only 34k miles. Anyway the tailgate handle broke so I purchased a new metal one. I also purchased a Pop and Lock tailgate lock. When I received it I noticed it was only for plastic OEM handle. Well since my truck came with a plastic handle and I am now going to a metal will the pop and lock plastic handle only lock work with the new handle? Thanks for any help or input!
