Icon5 Decision time.... PICS

Alright guys...I've reached that point where I have been stuck on this decision for some time now... I'm up for input.

I was rear ended last semester, and I basically fixed it all on my own (BFH, impact tools, patience...) and was able to pocket a grand!! Exciting I know. But I am the saving kind and I opened an account to start saving for whatever my next vehicle would be, or for a rainy day i supposed.

Fast forward to today. I have been wanting to do a BL forever it seems, but I have mixed feelings on them. I did shackles and torsion crank and was prety happy except now my 31s are inedaquate.... so I am debating just getting some 32 ATs or maybe throwing a BL in the mix... but then I would need like 35s to look right. and thats alot of meat for a DD with 135kmiles that I need to last me for at least the last year of college...

So anyway, here are some pics of what I have now... What do you think of her? And what should I do next?

I think only the last 2 pics show my current ride height...

I say 32's and call it a day. If you only want it for another year, while you're in school, just get the 32" tires. It'll save you money and be easier on the truck.

BL allows 35's huh???

I would say just put 31 or 32s on it.

Well from the looks of your tires, it seems like off-roading isn't a big deal to you. No reason to kill fuel economy, increase wear, and spend more money just for ground clearance you won't use.

So therefore my vote stands at 32x11.5R15 tires.

bl and 33s and youll be fine, youll have clearance issues with 35s and fender flares, you could run something 34" though 295 or 305

I say go with some 32's and change to a more aggressive tire like an M/T... that would make a big difference.

according to your sig, you have a 3.0 with 4.10's your going to want to regear to a lower ratio (probly 4.56's) dont forget to take that into account. it may look cool with bigger tires, but if its struggling (and a 3.0 needs to rev) its just not going to be much fun to drive. i think it looks good the way it is. no need to stess steering and driveline parts. and its roughly 1,000 bucks to change out 2 differential setups (if you do the work yourself, dont know what to expect as far as shop labor. and it would be money well spent if youve never set up a gearset.)

My 3.0 is fine with 32s, 33s would be no problem.

I think it's a good looking truck the way it is myself. Maybe when your tires are shot go w/ something a bit more aggressive like BF Goodrich A/T's and it would be perfect.
