dash gages

HI, I have a 96 2.3 Manuel ranger xlt with no tach. Does anyone no if I find an other 96 ranger with a tach, can I just switch the Gage panels? I just replace the dash lights and that thought came to my mind.

Yes, you can. 93-97 clusters would all suit fine for your third generation ranger. However, a cluster may work from a 98 to 2000 Ranger, or even a 2001 to 2003 I believe.
Your best bet is to stick with a 93 to 97 cluster, though.
