looks closely at the pic. you can see that the parts that extend to the side on that front cross thing on the frame are gone. had them cut off when i had my bumper built because it simplified mounting them.

i know that two of the stock bumper mounting points were on those "wings" if you will.

will the bumper mount to the other two holes that are still remaning and hold its position correctly?

if so, i'm going to sell my bumper and come upon a stock one i can put on..

you could always go to a junk yard and cut off the parts you need reweld on and finish grind and no one would ever know the difference

and I'd rather not do that. Does anyone know if it will bolt to just the two bolt holes?

I've read where you want to sell the truck so I'd make sure you do it right. If someone would buy your truck, get in a wreck, and get injuried you could be in deep crap.

I could care less what happens to it after it's gone. Trading it in so pretty much I don't care lol. And I really doubt those two sides will make much difference in an accident. And yes too lazy to do it right. Don't have a welder and don't know anybody good enough to ask to use theirs. And it's not worth enough to me to pay someone to do it.

lol couldn't tell ya! still very unsure. ive been looking at and driving all the cars i'm interested in. but damn its gonna be hard to make a decision. each car has high points, and not very many low points. lol

when it comes down to it, IF i can find an STi at the right price, i will probably get one of those. but they are really hard to come by here. theres many private party ones. but thats not an option since i cant sell my truck. so it has to be dealership or nothing

It will bolt up to the remaining just fine but like everyone said it wont be very strong. I had to cut those same deals off of mine to mount my winch. And I still have the stock bumper on,plus body lift makes a bumper u wouldnt want to have a wreck with.
