New truck will it settle?
I've noticed on my 06 Ranger 2wd that it sets as high as some older Ranger 4wd's. I read on one lowering post that sometimes it takes time for springs to settle. Is this true with new trucks also?
The height it's at now is perfect in my opinion. I guess if it does settle it would perfectly justifiable to get 30's to raise it back up.. aka what I can tell the better half.

The springs will settle some over time and after a few heavy loads.
If your truck has the optional heavy payload package, it will have heavy duty springs that could also contribute some to the height.
Also, it is a pretty light weight truck compared to something like a loaded V6 with an automatic. The springs do not have as much weight to support.
