doors....

i've seen a 'yota around here like that. and it surprisingly doesn't look too bad. the doors have been welded shut and painted. but they did a crappy job on the paint. and they could've sanded the welds down so its smoother too. i think if you put some work into it, it can look pretty damn good.

i think if i just went to a pull a part and grabbed up some hinges and cut out the latch off of the doors, with the pins, also grab the latch parts and all i could fab something up with some tube steel and sheet metal... then picked up some 91' series side view mirrors for the doors... i think it should work....

i called my local dmv and they said
"if the vehicle was manufacured without doors (motorcycle, dunebuggy, etc.) or is equipped with safety devices to provide the vehicle with structural integrity with out the doors (roll bar) it is legal to have no doors but you must have at least one driver side mirror seatbelts and a small lip(no size defined) at the bottom of the vehicle to keep the driver/passengers legs and feet in during an accident"
in oregon wyoming idaho and washington(where the original poster is from it is legal to have no doors)
Thank you very ****in much is that enough proof that im not "full of it"
