Dual exhaust help

I have a dual exhaust on my truck, ( came on the truck when i bought iT)

I have recently been thinking that I going to switch back to the standard exhaust on a ford ranger, because its kind of loud when i hunt.

I have no idea what type of exhaust this is or what is really going on ( good or bad) besides some rust haha, welcome to MN road salt

1. Would I be better off with the standard exhaust over this one?
does this exhaust look right?

2. Would this exhaust improve or hurt MPG/horsepower compared to a standard exhasut?

Can someone please tell me if this exhaust looks right or what is going on down there. ?

Thanks for any help you can give (pictures at bottom)

end of the pipe 2 1/2 outlet 2 inch inlet (i think)

back part of one of the tips running towards the back

both pipe snaking towards the where they meet

where the two pipes meet

then one pipe to the

thanks for the help

If you changed back to stock your probably going to lose hp and mpg. Exhaust is supposed to help those.

You probably wouldnt notice it. I would put on a Borla exhaust. Its gonna be very mellow but still give you the benifits of having an exhaust.

To loud when you hunt???? Can you please elaborate a bit because what I am taking from this is that you are a road hunter which is extremely illegal but then again you might be referring to driving out to your tree stand or ground blind or what ever BUT simply driving there then turning your truck off surely would not spook all the animals you are hunting away.

Confused

coyote hunter, and yes they can hear it coming down the log roads,
hunting in thick woods of northern Minnesota coyotes may be just off the road and you have to be able to get into the woods quietly, there is no open country. If they here you coming there gone, it not like out west where you can usually spot them first.
its just my opinion, but anyway back to the focus of the post

Each state has different rules when it pertains to hunting. At that it even depends on what type of animal is being hunted.

He as a very vaild point.

BTW: There is nothing wrong with road hunting if done right.
