opinions.... blue led behind the red "KPH" numbers...

So i know the green being removed on the back of a cluster will let bright blue led's shing thru.... but what about the KPH numbers...

I know they are red, but will the blue shining through the red look lame?

Can anybody comment who's done this mod?

NOT RED!

You won't see it very well at all!

Trevor did his blue led cluster w/ blue and red paint. all the red BARELY shows up....it's almost black looking. If you do purple paint and blue lighting, it creates a dark blue w/ very slight purple tint. pretty cool looking in my opinion. I'd show pics...but it's so hard to pick up on camera.

I'm saying that the stock color is red in my 04 - with blue led's behind I'm curious how it will look

The ac "hot" red looks ok - It almost came out a darker shade of blue because the LEDs i used are so powerful.

I found out the red for the KPH is in front of the face (on the side you look at)

It cant be sanded off.

I would have to "white" them out since I have an edge cluster.

It really looks fine in person, not to mention the "hot" side of the AC is also red. It comes out sorta purplish dark blue looking.
