An open rear in a truck is just stupid. I put teh trac-loc in mine, but the sob started whining a few thousand miles away. Dammit.

Have had quite abit of experience running a Detroit TruTrac offroading.... Used a TT in the front of my '98 Jeep Cherokee for 5 years. The torque sensing characteristics of the TT delivers great traction even in the tougher obstacles if you know the secret of feathering the brake for positive engagement. The TT has helical gears instead of clutch packs making this L/S much more HD then the TracLoc.
IF your vehicle is primarily used as a daily driver.... the TT will deliver good on road and off road performance.
Shop around..... I located one for $395 and thanks to a Jeep friend....the labor was FREE !!!
