It seems to cost less to replace my stepside bed with a totally new bed than to get it repaird (a thousand for new bed, 1500-2000 for repair) So I'm looking at west coast junkyards to get a new bed. My truck is a bright red stepside and I'm looking for the same exact color replacement. Can anyone tell me the color code of a 98 Bright Red truck and if they are able to, a 99 Red Pickup color code. I can look on my door, but I want to compare before I buy so I do not have to pay $600 bucks to get it repainted. Thanks.

Oh yeah, I'm gonna switch my truck over to a stepside I'll like it a lot better! And if anyone is interested, a 98-00 Ranger XLT 4WD with either 3.0 r 4.0, as far as I can tell comes with 4.10 gears. Just checked mine today.
