The f150 Fever...uh o Can I hold back?!
Alright so heres the deal, my bro just got his license. My parents just picked up an f150, 02 62 k on it, single cab (i love single cabs haha) 5.4l auto
I have had my ranger for 2 years, started out all stock, and it looks like this now. 3.0 v6 auto 47k on it.
and heres the 150
I pretty much have the option of which one I take, and what my bro drives, he doesn't really care. At first I was set on the 150, 5.4l v8, gets up and goes, drives very smooth, but now I am sitting here looking at pictures of my ranger, and don't know if I can part with it. I know the 150 is alot more practical then my ranger, which starting next semester I will be driving 40 minutes one way to school and back every day.
Decisions...ughhhh.
Any suggestions? Girlfriend says keep the ranger, but that 5.4l is so tempting haha.
And this is the concept for the 150 if I take it.

hey another vegas member!
but tahts tough. the ranger looks way better then the F150. but the F150 is a single cab with the 5.4. that should get up and go pretty good.
but if you get the F150, i'd say go for the same look you've got goin on with the ranger...
if thats not an option, keep the ranger

Needs moar catfish, IMO.
A full size is NOT a full size unless it is an ex cab or quad cab, IMO. Regular cab full size trucks are just as bed as a regular cab mid size/compact truck. You can't fit anything in the cab, and carrying stuff in the bed is stupid, unless you have a topper or a tool box.
I would keep the Ranger, only because it looks better, and it's not that much of an upgrade to a regular cab F150, IMO.

Thanks for all the compliments on the ranger guys, I really appreciate it. I am still very torren as to which way I should go. I really like my ranger, and have built it from stock up. The f150 is alot quicker though and just easier to drive because of the power.
I will be driving a total of close to 2 hours a day going to school and back M-Thur starting next semester. That is the thing I am worried about. The 150 is more practical which is why I am debating so much. I can through a jetski in the back of it so much easier then my ranger.
