Are your tires bald? Do you do any offroading? Mallcrawler? Is your exhaust leaking? What do you prefer, loud or mellow sound?

Your question is extremely vague and can be answered in many ways. Give us more info

Both being superficial… the larger tires although they will look good will actually take a little power away unless there is a gear change to compensate while the exhaust will probably give you very little without additional performance changes will at least give you the noise you want.

I say go with the exhaust for the sound and when you go larger tires think gear change.

i did a catback magnaflow on my truck (2005 xlt 4.0L 5spd 4x4) and it sounds great... but not much in the way of extra power.

ya i dont think it really gives that much power. Ive had a gibson, magnaflow and now straight into dual exit. havent noticed a difference in any of them except sound.
