Flipped my truck
Yesterday around 5 pm I was going about 45 mph down a 2 lane road when I hit a puddle. I began to fish tail and ended up going off the road heading towards some trees so I jerked the steering wheel to the left and completly lost control. The truck swerved into the other lane did a 180 then slid into a ditch. As soon as we hit the ditch the truck flipped onto its side and hit a fence, and slid about 10 feet before stopping. I had to crawl out of my window but was able to leave the accident without a scratch on me. My back, wrist, neck, and hip are extremly sore but no major injuries.
Got the truck towed and was issued a warning for failure to drive in a single lane.
I have no clue if its totaled or not. Sigh.

Some guys pulled over, you can actually see them in the pic. They hooked a tow rope to the underside of the truck and pulled it up right. From what I could tell (keep in mind the truck was covered in mud) the whole passenger side needs replacing, as well as the tailgate, tail lights, front bumper rear wheel/tire. The bluebook value is only around $4,000 so I think its safe to say this thing is getting totaled.

welcome to the club. glad you are alright! was your passenger alright?
you didnt really flip right, just flopped it? my brother did that to his black 2002 ranger. flipped it back and drove it home. the entire passenger side of the truck was replaced by insurance without totalling it.
it does seem like there have been lots of flips and crashes around here lately. everyone seemed to have been pretty unscathed! but maybe we just havent heard from the people who werent so lucky

Yea we were airborne for a second then it just landed on its side. It didn't actually flip all the way over. But it felt like if that fence wasn't there to stop us we would have kept flipping.

Stuff it Downey. Not every accident is due to irresponsible driving where the driver is entirely at fault.

to me annguyen1981 just sounds like he want everyone to be safe and drive responsible like we should. crashes don't always come out this good, some people have be in one to realize that it's no joking matter,i know i did but glad to see youre alright man
