I'm just scared of the wiring you guys..

And the legality...

I'd probally prefer to run a whole seperate wire so I can switch it on when I want to..

That way, if I needed to back up in traffic I don't blind anyone..

I'll probally paint my top and wire the lights in the same run, that way I have the topper off allready, and can use it to access the bed easier..

Wiring is the easiest part, i didnt read the whole thread....

I just wired mine up like fog lights on the front of a car....just extended the wires all the way to the back, i use mine alot...when hooking a trailer at dark i turn them on, i rarely use them when backing up...

Rocky

I havn't wired fog lights yet..

I've got this wire coming from, I dunno where.. plus some other ones that I think are suppose to be for trailer lights.

I'd like to try and mount the lights on the inside area of the bumper in between the bumper and tail gate..

I got ya all beat =]
Well, maybe haha. They're 55 watts like a headlight, excellent tailgater deterent.

They're not wired up to the reverse lights, just a manual on/off toggle. They're nice for other times when not in reverse. I suppose you could put it in reverse and flip the key on and they'd work too if wired up to the reverse lights.
