It sits below the headlight, its this foam/sponge sort of thing that absorbs the water before it gets to the air filter.

its expensive call all pre filter filters are not cheap and its such a dense filter that it cost alot to make to make sure water doesnt get in the air filter of course.

Not for much longer.
They're going to be discontinued the end of the year
Some tree-hugger found out how carcinogenic they are and got them banned.
Better stock up now.

If he changes his fog filter, and has no results what could he do?

I'm gonna go out on a limb, and say he should invest in the water cooled spark plug wires. $165.00

Yes they are pricey. Worth every penny when you gain 6-9 mpg though.

If he wants to save money he can get the hollow plug wires only $79.99

He may just need some seasonal tire air.

If he takes Jimmeh's advise and putting the sticker on the back defiantly buy a muffler bearing

I would also like to add at work we tried these water cooled spark plug wires on a Detroit Series 60.
WOW is all I can say what a huge improvement. The customer will be so amazed with the HP and MPG now they will get. It also made the diesel run a lot quieter

haha this thread was great, even my girlfriend said she wouldn't fall for that and I got her to go into autozone and ask for blinker fluid! I'm still curious if the fog makes a differnece in a/f ratio.
