this has truly been epic and needs to be stickied.

 

I don't know what to say on this one. We did a heck of a job selling it, but commonsense has to kick in some where along the line.

Fact of life for December 1,2008:

Common Sense isn't very common.

 

aem can suck a big one ... only reason their **** is carb aprovved is cause they ripped off enough people on a pipe with a filter to afford the testing

furthermore, not sure if fords had this problem, but on their older CAI's there was a bypass valve that was supposed to help with water getting sucked in ... well people were sucking the sponges INTO THE ENGINE!

 

yeah well it was along line b4 it did.

 

Just make sure you ONLY use OEM products. Aftermarket products do not go through the same testing for longevity as the OEM products do. Go OEM. I have many links to prove this.

Some important info alone these lines:
I just got off the phone with one of my engineering buds and guess what he found , a piece of Sham Wow will work in place of the filter BUT only if you saturate it with K&N filter oil first.
