So my buddy took this pic of his grandpa's pre-runner. He doesnt know too much about this stuff but thought it was cool... im looking at the pic and i see the window trim is black with black area painted around it like the mazda's but its got ranger badges... is the truck a mazda or a ranger with painted trim?? or can we not decide from the pic?

Its a mazda with a ranger front end and rear box slightly modified lol

It's a Mazda with a ranger front clip and ranger bed. As you can see the shades of paint are different.

And Mazdas have that black trim around the windows, it would be harder to replace the cab than the front clip and bed I would think

that is exactly what i was thinking... the only other possibility would be that he painted around the windows with black but i highly doubt it.

and as for the arguement... its maz. the window pillar and rear glass shape are not ranger.

as for the paint shade difference its becase the fenders and bed sides are fiberglass and the cab is sheetmetal. sometimes with out the right agents in the paint they colors dont always blend right.

and for the record i love those W.E. beadlocks.... on that they would look sick with the wheels black and rings silver!
