I got a couple questions about manual Hubs

Alright well I installed My Manual Hubs yesterday and I have a couple questions on how to use them. There probably common sense questions but I just want to make sure I'm using them right. Ok so when you want to use them you have to turn the switch to 4wd high then lock them? and will the 4wd work if you have them switch on 2wd and the hubs locked? also does the 4wd lo still work with Manual Hubs?

Thanks,
Clay

dude ur making this harder than it is....(i saw ur other posts too)

ok....you can lock them whenever you want...it doesnt matter where the switch is, you could lock them in and never turn the switch and ud be fine just worse gass milege. now, the only difference between these and the vacuum ones is that you can have 2 lo,(by switching the switch and not locking in the hubs.) so if ur offroading and want to go slow but dont want 4x4 so u can do doughnuts and stuff better you can. and no u wont have 4x4 if your transfer case isnt locked it (thats the switch). you can also lock ur hubs in when u start offroading and use the transfer case to whitch between 4x4 and 2x2 and never unlock the hubs til ur done and going back on the road.........there..hope i cleared it up for u.

Ok for your 4x4 to work switch the hubs to lock then hit the switch. yes 4-low works the same..

ok think of this, the PVH when you hit the switch the vacuum system locks in your PVH and also turn the t-case modual to engage the t-case..

now if your PVH fail you hit the switch your hubs dont lock and your T-case modual turns and engage the t-case but not the PVH...

so your now the vacuum system you get out and lock them yourself..

now if you know your going offroading just lock them in before you go.. its the same as a live axle trucks running around with them locked
