Looking at an 88 Bronco II!

Well I might be in the RBV game again, well I guess I still am with the exploder, but I have been toying with the idea lately about getting an older Bronco II or a First gen ranger to have a little fun with. Well I am at my Parents house animal sitting as they are in DC and my Girl is in Vegas with her sorority friends (BTW dial up sucks ) so I took a little cruise through my old hometown and drove passed a 1988 Bronco II for sale. It is in decent shape for a MN car and it has a 5spd. They are asking 750 for it. I am going to test drive it on sunday and I am going to low ball him and see if he takes it. This Rig is going to be just a beater. Something I don't care about that I can have a little fun with. Definatley a Lift and some Cheap mudders and rims, Nothing pretty just tough. It definatly has potential.

Wish me luck.

5 this will make 6 but the Cadillac and the roadmaster do not get driven in winter. The Charger has been in my parents shed under a tartp since 2002 waiting on me to get about 10-15K together to restore it. The explorer has been sitting since august as I hate driving it and my Wife drive the expedition (although I have it this weekend)

Re: engine size: It's a 2.9

I called the guy and left a message after I got back from league shooting and he has yet to get beack to me. Hopefully I can test drive it after work. I found an 87 Ranger too for $1200. Going to take a look at that also.

My 88 2.9 5 speed ,would run low 10's in the 1/8, lot's of torque for a small motor.
