found a '96 ranger xlt 4x4 in a junkyard, what parts will work on my '99??

i found a '96 ranger xlt 4x4 extended cab in a junkyard today. it had the factory round foglights and valence.. will this foglight valence work on my '99 ranger? i know the '99 rangers had the oval/squarish shaped fogs... but will the '96 valence work?

the '96 also had a retractable shade cargo cover thingy that covers up the jumpseat area.. i grabbed that.. my '99 didnt have one.

it also had some interesting seats.. they were grey cloth buckets with center console.. my '99 has the 60/40 bench. with armrest thats part of the seat.

the seats in the '96 also had a interesting feature, the front of the seatbottom extended.., it was retractable, like some BMW sport seats ive seen. there were also a switch on the side that said "lumbar/bolster + - " were these common seats? will they fit in my '99?

it also had a locking glovebox. my '99 doesnt.. will it fit in my '99?

thanks for any help..

chris

the valence won't fit a 99 but if you would like to get it and send it my way i would be very pleased

the glovebox should fit....most interior pieces are the same even up to the 2010 trucks

I need those fog lights!!! assuming there are two of them and they are not broke, shoot me a pm please and see if we can work something out!!

Also the fog lights and plastic valance will NOT fit your truck, the FANCY seats were an OPTION ( I have them in my 1996 ) I don't know if the glove box will fit, I also have the locking glove box.

i did grab the foglight brackets, they are heavy cast steel!! way overengineered. i wish ford overengineered some of the other parts on the ranger.. anyway, i dont think these will work on my '99 either. Sadly the foglights themselves were already gone when i got there. (that was the only thing missing from the foglight setup)

wow, whoever tok the lights didn't realize what they missed. the retractible shade might not fit. if you have rear jumpseats, it won't. if yours is a two door, it should.
