Found a site that sells Power Sliding Rear Windows for Rangers (98+)

i was roaming around online and came across this site that has power rear windows.. wish i had seen it when i owned my Ranger... i probably would have bought one.

here's a link for anyone interested..

http://www.truckininstyle.com/latemodelsliders.htm

now if i found a power solid window that went up and down, that would be awesome. these are cool enough though.

do the newest rangers have power rear sliding windows?

if it was the entire back window that went down it might be worth it, but id rather have to reach and open the window then spend 350$ to press a button

Wow, that's great! Something else electrical to maintain and fix, lol.

My drivers side window is marginal now. I have to thump on the door to get it to move. It got water in it from being stuck in really deep water and it ate up the brushes. I'm going to pull one in the JY tomorrow.

Maybe waterproof your door now that you have it apart?

Dad has this gooy stuff on the shelf, ill look to see what it is, I used it on my rims, on the backside, and may that stuff works fantastic, its super gooy too, goes kinda hard yet plyable, but remains pretty thick....

What happens if a glass breaks? Do you have to buy a whole new setup or can you just buy the glass? Cool idea, but I'll stick with reaching back.

I would settle for a regular slider, but it's still kinda cool.

my 08 does not. i'd assume no. kinda a cool thing to have though but i think it would be a waste of money unless you use it a lot.

Once upon a time in a universe far, far away... I owned a '68 Merc that had the whole rear window drop 2". Great for getting the smell of "mother nature" out in a hurry when used with the front side vents jamming air in.
A slick idea, and I hope that they do well. On an X-cab it would be nice to have for chucking empty barley-pop cans into the bed

Haha much easier than hook shooting it out the window into the bed.

I tossed my slider! lol.....I really want to find a solid rear window w/ defroster. Like the fullsize chevy pickups have. That'd be cool.
