I've taken careless precautions and strapped mine down with the best of the best. I used the force of gravity. Works great.

i removed my rear drivers side jumper seat and built it to fit into there and bolted down using the holes where the seat mounted.

I had mine held down using a seat-belt like material. I didn't want to be in the cab with that thing unsecured if I ever rolled or something.

yeah if mine sits down in the footwell behind the seats it sticks into my driver seat also. so i have it mounted in the middle where the jack cover goes. and a few 2x4 blocks keeping it level with the raised part of the floor in the rear of the cab. dislike. lol

Get a small piece of MDF and cut yourself 3 'legs' to go on each side of the box at the bottom.

I used the force of gravity and the front seats to hold it in place.

Tyler, just put it on the floor behind your passenger seat? Thats where I have mine but I have the seat a bit forward. My girlfriend still has lots of room so works for me. You would have to move your jump seat to your side but I don't see why you have it in there anyways there useless. lol

I started with this setup on the passenger side. Just used "L" brackets and self tapping screws into the wall of the cab.
All of my passengers complained about the vibrations on the back of their seat. Like a little kid kicking the seat constantly.

So I went to this. The speaker box is up side down in this photo.

The two 10" speakers fire at the floor. No more complaints and I like the sound better.
I have four 1/8" "L" brackets, holding it to the floor. There are 1/8" washers sandwiching the floor between them.
Also have the same washer setup holding the amps to the side of the box. This thing isn't going anywhere in a crash.
Also if some turkey decides he wants to steal my parts, he'll have to tear the box apart to get them.
A lot of work? Yes. But worth it. IMO Do the job right the first time, or don't bother.

that interior is sweet! i would have done just a few peices like the visors or just the headliner only. to each their own. has anyone ever secured it to the bottom of a jump seat? i know there is one or two on here that have it between the jump seat and the floor. the what 6-8 inches. it's just a thought seats down, you can't see it.

JESUS! you rock for an old guy!
