They aren't steelies. They are factory aluminum alcoa's.

Because they are in a lot of large truck applications? Not to many 5.9's make it to 1 mill without a lot of help

x2...the cummins in the heavy trucks is COMPLETELY different than the 5.9 and 6.7 that dodge puts in the 2500 and 3500

They're not too far off, but they do run at a faster speed then the larger engines.

There is a 7.3 PSD at the junkyard 4 miles from my house that is a rollback for hauling junk cars and has 1.2 million miles on the engine. However the tranny has been replaced twice though haha.
