If I were you I'd check into the laws about permission to use property, specifically what is mentioned about ownership changes. There may be a period of time that allows trappers etc who have permission to use the land, to get permission from the new owners or have the consent nullified... definetly worth looking into. Also I would have a look at what kind of signage is required by your laws to identify the private property and that trespassing will not be allowed. Here you'd have a hell of a case but I have no idea what the laws are in VA.

Yeah but some people just don't care. Technically I think the cops were just doing there jobs but I bet if you take it to court you can get it dropped.

It's not the cops you should be worried about, its the new owners of the property.

Why because they were doing there jobs . Why dont u do something constructive , instead of being part of the im always the victom crowd . Even the op said he understands , Yeah Im with him its messed up but at the end of the day its up to you every time you go on property thats not yours to check that you still have consent . At least thats the law in Texas were we both live .

But it would be so much easyer to shoot 2 Police officers than be out a couple hundred bucks , As an aspiring person trying to be a PD officer and a son and nephew and cousin to many great Law enforcement officers I hope they ban you for the blatent disregaurd for authority and the death threat against 2 Officers ...

That sucks man... I'm sure you would have no problem fighting it though since it's mere days and the owners aren't sweating it. Did you talk to the new owners about getting permission from them?

I'm pretty sure Roach wasn't about to grab a gun and go shoot some cops... just so happens they stick their nose in a lot of business when, while it may be illegal, is the least of problems they should be dealing with.

Im sure he wasnt either , but once again it ges to the woe is me Im the victum in this situation . The last one of these threads was locked because of this childish mentality .

Once again someone who has no clue of how a Police department runs telling people how to do a job , That already have there hands tied and still want to complain . Most departments have patrolling officers thats all they do is patrol , because if there kneck deep in anything seriuos , when someone is getting murdered , raped , robbed , so on they could not respond so yeah at the time they were doing exactly what they were supose to be doing .

And to the OP I'm with you yeah it wasnt fair , but it shows alot to your character that your standing up and taking respnsibility for your actions for that you have my respect ...
