Another BC, Canada resident here... Gas is up to $1.24/liter. Translates to roughly $4.80 USD per gallon. What I wouldn't give for the prices most of you are paying!! Lol... that being said we have some of the best wheelin' trails in the world so I suppose we pay a premium.

Peace!

i'm coming to MI to get my gas. at this point the equivalent of $4.80/G even with tolls adding up to $8 i'd still save money.

quick math, if i bought 18 gallons @ $3.19 and $8 in tolls it would cost $65ish. if i bought my gas here, 72 liters would cost me $88ish. saving me $10. wow that sucks.

that is only a ballpark since i don't know what MI or the duty free is selling at.

Thank you guys. I just love how everyone pisses and moans about gas prices here in the US, when every other country has to pay per liter and has been the equivalent of $4.00 per gallon for a long time.

Gas here just jumped from $3.29 to $3.49 with all the crap going on over in Libya this last week. Should be fun when it hits $5.00 per gallon here by Memorial Day.

While yes it sucks to pay more, I for one am a little happy to see this because maybe we'll finally see some real engineering out of our car companies about how to make better engines / more ways to steal energy from other places (i.e. hybrid braking systems, shutting the engine off at certain times, etc.). This past year we've seen a lot of advances but still nothing revolutionary.

They pay per liter because of their units of measurement. What they "pay by" is irrelevant.

Some vehicles already come equipped with both of your examples...

As for gas prices, i've seen anywhere from $3.22 to $3.44 here. It was $3.65 for diesel yesterday.

most of us have trucks cause we actually use them .... so a "hybrid" is out of the question.

considering that a echo gets almost as good of mileage as a hybrid i don't see the point getting one other than to be trendy and "green".

Saw gas at 3.65 in redmond and 3.29 at costco.

I understand most of us use them hence why i said what i did if you wanna complain aboutprices then get a hybrid and use the truck when needed or any small 4 banger car for that matter. If you cant afford to do that then thats fine too but come on we own trucks for what they are and can do, not trying to pinch out 30+ mpgs. Im just saying i see it as pointless to complain about gas prices unless you got a 4cyl 2wd ranger and getting 12-13 mpgs in that case rather ***** about prices ***** about the fact that its getting the milage of a v8 and cant figure it out. Another issue i have is complaining oh i only get XXmpgs but when we look at your truck its lifted sittin on 35s or something im sorry but you only did it to yourself.

$1.19/litre for 87 octane here in Regina, so ~$4.49/US gallon

More fun quick math:
$1.19/litre and burning 17L/100km (avg city in the winter), it costs 20 cents per km, or about 33 cents per mile, just for fuel. Definitely makes a guy think twice about any trip across town.

I don't even want to look and haven't looked in like a week. At least I can get 2 weeks out of a tank in the f150 so its only like $45 a week. Says online its anywhere between $3.55 to $4.29

$3.45 for 93 down here which is what I am using. I can't wait to start filling up the truck, lawnmower, and gas tanks every week come mowing season....

We need to drill now in America or use our freaking reserves. This is damned ridiculous.

$3.55 this morning for me. I swear if it hits $4/gal I'm getting a reg cab 4 cylinder instead.

$50 for 3/4 of a tank on the ranger
$100+ for my silverado

And race gas for my quads is up to $10/gallon now lol.

Can't keep doing this for very long driving 500 miles a week haha
