It wasn't too bad this weekend... my truck hasn't moved since I got home from work Friday night. lol

 

We are at $1.24/L equals close to $5/gallon. I filled up in MI @ $3.41/gallon. It saved me $25-$8 for tolls. So $17 saved.

 

3.73 a gal last time I looked. Luckily I don't drive too much at college.

Diesel goes from the rare find of 3.69 to the more common 3.85-3.89

I paid $3.50 last night in Houston, TX.

It's getting damn sad and I almost sold my little 2.3L Ranger in order to buy a v8 full size.. Glad THAT didn't happen !

Lmao whats race gas cost out there in Cali? Depending on grade it runs $7-15 a gal here in Ohio.

 

Just skimed through that article. Doesnt really make sense how stopping exports to Britian and France makes price in the US rise by roughly 5% when Iran only exports about a total of 2.5% of the oil in the world. It would seem if they stop exports to some then they would have more to export to other countries so the prices should go down. But the oil companies have to make billions off of something this year so why not just get started early.

My thoughts are... Didn't we already place sanctions on Iran ? Didn't that already stop our business with them ? The media, stock market, and oil companies are driving up the prices because of fear world wide.

I honestly don't see the connection either.

 

All i know is that prices will come back down in october and november when the savior of our country is trying to get re-elcted.

 

PSIJOE, thats not too bad i guess all things considered. AFAIK race gas isnt taxed since its supposed to be "Offroad use only". Could you imagine if it was taxed?! Lol ya right!

What sucks even worse (for me at least) Is their is only one gas station who carries it around here. Anddd it's like 10 miles from my house, so that's not fun. It's not like I need it all the time though. haha

I usually just throw it in the mr2 before I go to the track. Every once in a (great while) I will throw it in the tank just to kinda clean up the tank/ injectors/etc. it's a jdm motor meant for 93 octain. so running 91 kinda sucks. :-(
