parent's drove it up friday to deliver it to me. i'm selling my jeep and they don't use it, so they offered it to me.....free of charge of course.
it's 12 years old, has 131,000 miles, and is a little rough around the edges, but i'm not complaining.
started doing some stereo work on it yesterday. should have it all complete within the next day or two.
it's a darn low rider, but the suspension is all stock. i may add a body lift just to make it easier to get in and out of.

i'm selling the jeep to get rid of the monthly payment. i will however be buying another one in cash shortly after this one is sold......a very cheap one that is.
the ranger is low enough as it is. my chest stands taller than the roof line. it definitely won't get lowered.....lifted if anything.

thanks guys. like i said, for what i paid -0- i can't complain. i'll pull about 500 miles on a tank of gas. i get 200 miles a tank in the jeep. throw literally a couple bucks on that for insurance a month...i can afford to put a few bucks into maintenance for it.
the armrest lid has been broken for years. for as much as they drove it, they never felt the need to fix it.
trust me, if selling the jeep wasn't the best way, i wouldn't be doing it. my unborn child already has jeep clothes and toys.....that's the kind of jeeper i am. i will be getting another one not too long after i sell this one. it will be stripped down and dirt cheap though, and we'll pay cash for it. it will be a new project.....think LS1, dana60s front and rear, atlasII, 39-40" tires, hyd. steering, 10" stretched wheelbase, lots of body cutting, and coilovers.
i haven't had the time to give it a good wash and wax. will hopefully get to work on that this weekend. i just finished the stereo install last night. the drive in to work this morning was heavenly. i will be building an enclosure for the sub to in the space where the driver's side jumpseat is, but for now, the box it's in will work.
pretty sure i will be doing a body lift just for the sake of getting in and out a bit easier. i'm 6'5" and i have to basically fold myself just to get inside.
