Icon10 Got some cash need some Ideas

well i got my tax refund back a whole whoppin 411 bucks so what should i get i know for sure im gonna get a body lift. I was thinking about swapping out my old Rims and selling both my current Black rims and my Stock rims which would give me some extra cash to spend on like a cold air intake or somthing else i dont know.

Here is a pic of my truck My friend says i should keep the black rims b/c it looks more aggressive.

So all ideas and opinions are accepted negative or positive!

i would get some lighter rims. (ie: alloy or something)

it will help out with gas mileage, and look a lot better.

depends on your financial situation. if you have no credit card balance and no outstanding bills, then get whatever you want. if you have a credit card bill, use the money to help pay it off.

clear corners are a cheap mod and then paint your rear bumper cap black to match your wheels

I'd say body lift it to clear them 33's! Get a set of clear corners($30 tops). See what you can get for your stock rims and your current rims....might be able to get enough to get yourself some black alloys or classic 2s.

I still say bodylift, and the corners....then save the rest.

I prefer the "Life just kicked me in the nuts and I need cash fast" account, has a higher interest rate.

Well, if it's disposable then by all means, the suggestions in this thread are all good ones.

Take your time and do some research......

First off, if you get an intake do not get the cold air BOX style, from the beginning they have made no sense at all, get the $50 one with the tube and open filter. Any kind of box inhibits air flow, period, ANY kind of box! And none of them provide cold air when they pick their "cold" air up as it comes through the radiator!

That leaves you $361 to spend on a reasonable chip......Then start looking for tires......Your rims are fine unless yours is a mall queen......

Well, with that kind of cash...

How about a crossbed truck box? Store any extra gear you got in the back.. and youll appreciate it an awful lot more then putting it into a cold air intake or anythign else.. :-)

A black one woudl look perfect for your truck..

right around the $400 mark for a good deep size stepside powder coat black on here.
