One word: Microwave. You could install a microwave into your truck. Hungry? Throw a burrito in there!

He said a tax refund John, not a wallet full of Friday night stripper singles.:)

Edit: Buy a rattle can of black paint and color match that rear grey bumper plastic to your black wheels .

I think the BL idea is a great one, second I would do a chip or even better a programmer to push those tires around. I really like what you have done with your truck and I think clear corners would look sweet.
A cold air intake would be awesome but I would wait untill someone on here is selling theirs and save a little green. Also with the BL watch craigs list I just picked a kit up for $50 and the box was never even opened that is like 200 bucks less than one online. Let us know what you decide to do though man the truck is coming along real sick IMO

keep on saving! If u really want to spend the cash on your truck then i say go for anything that may get you better gas mileage. Ex:Intake, Exhaust, Chip/Programmer....... be smart and invest. you spend money to save money. plus you get a more custom ride.

And on the whole saving thing.... Having a couple grand is nothing. think for tomorrow not today. as i am close to your age every time i turn around i get hit with another bill. it sucks.

what im trying to say is you may be ok if you get an unexpected bill today but what if you get hit with one tomorrow?

Save for a house???

Forgive me for preaching but there is no such thing as to much money saved.

I have heard both ways on exhausts helping and hindering milage I think its all about how you do it and which set up you use.

I can't see why excessive revs while in nuetral would hurt gas mileage.

i was gonna say if it's a manual then get a hurst. on the exhaust. i have a gibson and i didn't notice any change in gas mileage i think if i could do it over i would go for a flomaster for the better sound. just my .02.

Sorry bud should have put a (sarcasm) in there.

If you're looking for exhaust can't go wrong with flomaster. If you're really interrested almost every exhaust shop carries it and its not that expenceive.

Actually, flowmaster isnt 'Loud' persay.. peoel who cut the cats out and run a flowmaster are loud.. or flowmaster it to a cherry bomb...

Mine has a nice neutral growl to it.. good low deep sound, it isnt very prominent on highway at 60-70mph.. and when you downshift to pass someone and throw some gas into it.. the CAI really makes it roar like your yellin at peopel to get out of your way... then coast back down to speed after you pass em, shift back on up and it lets a nice little purr out again.

Just run it dumped if you want a little more tone and a more inexpensive way of doing exhaust. You can actually buy the muffler and clamp it on yourself.

I say get a cat back system from JBA!!! i got mine from summit racing , it was in stock and i didnt even know i had gotten a stainless steal one till it arrived (it uses a polished magnaflow can)! but its amazing the best 330bucks i have spent in a long time!! gas mileage went up maybe 2mpg it sounds amazing especially after its broken in! and best of all the truck is completely different at high speeds, Cruz at 90mph all day without working the motor to hard.
Then with the leftover 80bucks you can send my way! its a win win! anyway congrats and have fun that's what life's about!
