And you honestly think that ricer exhaust that's on there now is gonna be quieter than before? I'll be the one back here saying told you it wouldn't be.

 

i think my new rims are fine. im gettin the center caps for them soon

and the roll pan is gettin some work done to it so it molds in with the body lines

down the road I will probably change the exhaust up. but that wont be til I have the engine mods done

 

its way quieter in the cab when driving and it doesnt have a drone to it. when Im not foot to the floor the exhaust has a nice deep tone to it but isnt as loud as the flowmaster at all

 

I liked it better before, should of just changed it from being dumped to pipes over and past the axle. Thats how i have mine set up and its plenty loud but not loud to the point where its annoying or any drone.

 

Yea...if an exhaust is dumped...it'll just kinda bounces off the gound and bounce off everything under there causing resonance in the cab. I have it, and like it. Still think my truck sounded better with an actual tailpipe though. If the exahust actually exits out from under a vehicle via a tip outisde the body, it'll be quiet in cab.

I thought that was like common knowledge.

Hate to say it, but you should have left it the way it was. Just add a tail pipe and viola. Truck won't bug ya anymore.

Hey, it's your truck. I just think making a truck a tuner is kind of....dumb. Lowering a truck I get, but ricing it out?

I guess that's what I get for growing up around them being big beasts.

 

i dont know how one little thing is considered ricing a truck out.

i mean if i had every little chrome accessory from autozone, spinners, and a flag hanging from my mirror then you could call it rice. one little thingis not rice.

so if someone has a lifted truck do we automatically call them a redneck?!

 

One little thing can change the way a truck looks entirely, you have proven that. I mean dude if you like it what we think doesnt matter. I'm just telling you it doesn't fit what I like.

haha. i mean where I am from, there are the lifted guys and the lowered guys. we may be different but we all hang out and help each other work on our trucks. we dont hate on what people do, because customizing is a just a way people express themselves.

i mean its cool if everyone thinks im a ricer, because I know Im not and sometimes you just gotta be unique.

Trevor, have you seen the truck just like yours, but stock, in Sandy with one of those rice muffs on it? Usually at the top hill gas station, across the street, south of the arco.

 

You said yourself, you are going for the tuner look. Where I am from, tuner and rice mean the same thing, unless you go to a Chinese restaurant. I mean, that's an obvious thing as you don't order Cong Pow with Tuner.

I'm not trying to sound like a *****, that's just my opinion. I'm not saying I hate it, I'm just saying I don't like it.

 

see, around me tuners and rice are not the same. tuners are nice euro cars (bimmers, vdubs, stuff like that). rice is civics, accords, and those stupid saturn wagons people are droppin to the ground

i guess where people are from makes a difference in what is considered rice.

LEDs, HIDs... They're on everything, not just ricers...

Those euro tails just look half ***, IMO... You don't have to think that way, the only people in my area with those tails and even shane knows this are mexicans... It's a given, if you can see their tails, you can guess who's in the truck and be 99% right.

Underbody neon... No good. Only if you're showing the truck and only if it's on at the show, other than that, hack looking.

Again these are all my own opinions...

 

Exactly, rice isn't a certain type of car for me. Any car with a fart can on it (or truck) is rice. Underbody neons make a car rice, those lighted wiper sprayers = rice.

 

hatchback honda's = rice too.

the huge "handle" wing on the back of the car = rice

truck spoilers = real big rice

chrome fender flares = bean (brown rice)
