Some advice
I know this sounds stupid but with winter approaching I think it is a good time to remind everyone to CHECK YOUR SPARE TIRE! Maybe it would be a good idea to put this on the list of things to do when changing your clocks for daylight savings...(2 weekends from now...DOH!!) Thanks for setting me straight)
1) Change Clock
2) Change smoke detector batteries
3) Check fire extinguisher
4) Fully removed your spare and check air pressure
I dont think my spare has ever seen the pavement. I just had to remove it to get to my rear brake lines and getting the carrier bolt of required a large piece of pipe and ALOT of liquid wrench. Then the bolt that holds the tire to the carrier itself made the ultimate sacrifice to the sawzall after alot of swearing, the demise of one stanley screwdriver (inserted into above large pipe) and the almost demise of a Craftsman BF Screwdriver.
Sorry for the long post, just been a frustrating time, and I didnt even go into all the details
