Headliner

This is for my wife's car, a 2001 Honda Civic. the last 1-2 inches of headliner is coming apart near the rear window. I have thought about putting contact cement on this and glueing it back up but I am not sure. Any suggestions from someone who has run into this problem before and knows what works is greatly appreciated. I know it is not a Ford Ranger but it may be a problem for alot of different vehicles and I am just looking for a solution. Thanks for any help.

it's the start of the end of it. once it starts to separate from the foam (the foam rots away) there isn't any saving it. it's time to get it recovered. the average life of a headliner is 10 years. if you use contact cement, it's probably going to bleed through. the best solution i have seen has been using a stapler or thumb tacks to hold it up.
