Almost 350,000 miles. Does Ford Reward ?

I am the Original Owner of my 1998 Ranger with 2.5 4 Cyl. Eng and Auto Trans.

I am approaching 350,000 miles.

It still has the Original Engine, Original Auto Trans and Original Differential.

Nothing has been overhauled or rebuilt other than normal light stuff like water pump, alternator, radiator, and other minor repairs.

Does Ford acknowledge those who have taken care of their vehicles and have been able to demonstrate the longevity and quality of Ford products ?

I emailed Ford at approx. 200k miles, but all they said was to post in their forums. I thought, what an insult. They wanted me to give them free publicity and a free endorsement.

So now that I am almost at 350k miles, I thought I would turn to you guys to see if you have had any experiences with Ford rewarding you in some way in exchange for your testimony.

Tell me your thoughts.
Thanks.

My reward is having a dependable truck for daily transportation. I only have 61,000 miles on my Ranger but it's a 2003 which means it's almost 13 years old, yet it still looks great, runs great, and I should get many more years out of it. Yes I've had to do some repairs and I take very good care of it, and it's paying off as it still looks almost as good as when I bought it 8 years ago !!!!

Here's a recent pic of it...not bad for a 13 year old truck, eh ??

Yes, I would say that as well, the reward is in the longevity.

seems like i heard about $1000 loyalty bonus trade in if you had a ranger. but i guess that means you would be getting rid of your 350k mile ranger for a new $50k truck. LOL

I don't want a F-150. I seen one the other day and it was so large it just made me cringe. I don't want to have to climb up into a cab. I'll stick with my Ranger thank you, it's the perfect size for me.

My '93 XLT (3.0 v-6, automatic transmission, 2wd), bought used in 1998, has 288,000 miles with the original engine, rebuilt transmission, and a few of the usual smaller repairs. My reward is the feeling of accomplishment on keeping it running well and dependably. I don't always wait until something breaks; I replaced the alternator preventively.
