help trying to find size and year of engine
i have a ford engine belived to be out of a ranger trying to find what year and size. the s/n number was hard to read but it looks like it reads E89E-6015 AD any help would be awsome
motor was not in the truck

This should be a 1988 2.3 4 cyl engine. It is a single plug head engine with a distributor and fuel injection.
