Pics of FX4 Shifter & Fx4 Level II?

Hi, does anyone have pics of the FX4 and FX4 Level II Shifters? Is there a difference? Is there any change between the 2003 - 2005 4Cylc 2.3L Models?

2003-on FX4's have the normal black Ranger shifter with the tall rubber boot.

The 2002 FX4 and 2003-2006 FX4 Level II have the chrome transmission shifter with the leather boot. 2004-on Level II manuals have a single shifter and leather boot in the black dual cupholder bezel. These are pictures of the 2002~2003 twin shifter version with the double bezel:

This is a Ranger that has been converted to the Level II shifter:

How does that leather chrome boot part come off? I need to get at the transmission to remove the shifters.

The leather boots have maybe 3 spring clips each that snap into the silver plastic bezel. The clips will pop free if pried up carefully. There is also a tab at the front of each boot - do NOT pry up at the tab position because it will break off. The silver plastic bezel is held down by hidden sheet metal screws, not by the ornamental allens. Each **** unscrews from its shift arm after loosening the jam nut under it.
