Help Troubleshoot AC

Hello world!

Ive been looking into / slowly diagnosing my A/C problem and i have come to a halt in my progress.

All relays(in engine fuse box) and fuses are good, individually tested and relay was swapped with a working one and same effect.

My AC hasn't worked for a while so i started troubleshooting to get it up and running

At first i couldn't charge with a new can of 134 because the ac clutch wouldn't engage so i jumped the compressor to force the clutch on so i could fill with refrigerant.

after replacing the relay, clutch still wouldnt engage, so i tried jumping low and high pressure sensors, and jumping either of them does not let the clutch engage.

Basically im out of ideas. any ideas from you guys?

After replacing the relay

you may need to test the signal from the inside switch to the relay to see if its energizing the relay. a broken or rotted wire could be your issue. test for power at the relay from the switch, if that fails you can run a toggle switch to the relay or trace the problem back to the switch.

Have you checked the clutch cycling switch or the over pressure switch?

I was having a problem with my A/C and after having several things done at a shop it got better but still had a problem. I decided to replace the clutch cycling switch even though the shop told me that could not be the problem. The new switch solved the problem.

I second turboeeyore. I just bypassed the oem wiring and ran my own for ac. But I didn't care about that car. If u like clean setups then trace away.
