Which Tire?

My stock tire size is 225/70R15 i will be going with a 235/70R15.

My choices right now are

Toyo Open Country A/T

OR

Firestone Destination A/T

Any feedback or other options would be great.

I had the Firestone Destination AT and they were an awesome tire. I now have Goodyear Duratracs which are better off road and slightly better in deep snow. On road though the Firestones are better for wet roads and they are also very quiet.

I have heard about hydroplaning with the toyos and that they have trouble with wet roads in general.

I really have considered it but that's just not me. My last truck(avatar pic) was on 38s I just can't see me driving a lower truck.

I thought about lifted the ranger and putting a 31ish tire on it but then I would have to gear in order to be able to tow my boat. Its a slug now with stock tires. And I'd rather put money into my new truck (08-10 F250) I'll be getting in the next year or so.

As for the tires. I ran Toyos(M/Ts) on my big truck and loved them which is why the A/T was my first choice but I may end up getting the Goodyears cause I need wet traction for launching the boat and just driving period.
