Anyone use rain-x for windshield?
I was reading about this and it sounds pretty good. Below is info on what the product does.
Features:
# Dramatically improves wet weather driving visibility
# Apply to exterior glass
# Repels rain, sleet and snow
# Makes for easy removal of frost, ice, salt, mud and bugs
Has anyone had experience with this product? It would be nice to get rid of all the bug splatter easier, plus the other benefits.

Yea, I used it on my last truck and it worked great. One time, a linkage on the wiper arm came off, and didn't have any wipers......drove all the way home while it was raining without a problem, or having to slow down because of visiblity issues, only when it began to rain REALLY HARD did I have to slow down, because there was so much rain hitting the windshield. I havent got around to putting some on my ranger yet.

Pros are you hardly ever have to use your wipers. Plus I love the smell.
It's suppose to also help stop bugs from sticking to your windshield but I seem to be deployed every lovebug season, so I can't really tell you if that works.
The cons are you have to put it on yourself about every month or two and it will remove the ink on any decals you may have. That's all I can think of.
I also use only Rain-X wiper fluid and I add the Rain-X wiper fluid additive to make it a little stronger.
Oh yeah, it's also great when you're on the interstate and it's downpouring to the point where everyone else is pulled over and you just whizz right past them w/o even using your wipers. hehe. Seems the harder it rains the better it works.

As for rain-x, love the stuff, but I don't really care for the washer fluid they offer. It tends to smear the bug guts around, at least out here with our bugs. Doesn't matter really though as I'm **** retentive about cleaning my windshield each time I fill up with gas.
