Got the Adjuster Quote Today

Finally, the adjuster came out to look at my truck today. He didn't eve look the whole thing over. Walked up to the front, shook his head, and said it's totaled. I asked him if he could price the damages anyways and he called later on in the evening; $8,525 total damage + the frame was bent in 2 places. Getting a check to payoff what i owed on it and also another check for a down payment on another truck. Kinda torn on decisions right now. I loved my ranger. Now i can't decide on another truck.
Thinking of:
Dodge Ram 2500 w/Cummins diesel (do a bunch of hauling ie: popup camper and 21' camper. Also tow a boat and haul my friend's street bikes at times.)
or
Another Ranger: 02+ FX4 w/4.0 Sohc that i will definately lift again.
Both 4x4s because of where i live.
Decisions Decisions.

As much as I like Rangers, I say if you can swing it go with the Ram. They come in really handy and they get better mileage than the ranger. My buddy gets 24 MPG with his Ram with a Banks Kit on it and it can tow your house if you were so inclined. They aren't as good off road as a Ranger in my opinion. Not as agile and tend to sink like a rock in the thick stuff. They are handy to have around to pull you out though! Good luck With your decision.

I'd either go with a ram, if the diesel prices arn't much of an issue for you,
or look into a colorado 4x4 if you've got the cash

Have a colorado in the family. Don't like it at all.
I'm leaning more towards the ram but my ranger still waits it's last ride to car heaven. Such a shame. Miss the ranger though.

Sad times, get another ranger...
However, are you being allowed to take parts off the truck? Since you are in PA :)
I'd be interested in the visor...the truck, or at least parts of it would live on...

Thinkin about it but i do haul a lot and tow trailers and such.
I was able to take parts off the truck. Was allowed to take the tailgate, head unit, rims and tires off. Not allowed to touch the visor or much else. Tailgate and rims are going on a friend's truck. Head unit will go into my next one. Also have a brand new edge bumper, valence, and foglights. Not to mention the 4 brand new 33x12.50R15 Intero TrXuS M/Ts that were to go on the day after the wreck happened.

Ya'll still gonna let me lurk around the boards?
Probably down the road i will have another ranger. Just not having the one i worked so hard for won't be the same

You are allowed to lurk, and post whenever you want. Having a Ranger isn't a requirement...
Sorry about losing the truck, but just think about the next one :)
