Horn mod

well scott "RangerExtreme" got bored or something and decided to put some new horns on his truck. you can decide what they are from till he tells you later.

here a vid of it.

i heard these on the phone....and i gotta say, JUST by what i've heard on the phone, i'll be swapping to them. I won't tell until he tells what they are out of.

That definetly sounds alot better. Once the secret is let out I might do the same. I really hate the stock horn too.

Lol, I was j/k but yeah it's defiantly an improvement over stock.

Pretty soon I'm going to make my setup 200psi instead of 145 it's at now. I want louder.

It ain't impressive by any means but like I said before it definetly sounds better than stock. I would love to have one of those cruise ship horns but I would get myself in trouble with one.

I don't think blowing over small cars on the highway is very considerate hahaha

HaHaHa speakin of that some beamer almost ate my hitch trying to go around me on the shoulder today:) So what did the horn come out of?

That video cracks me up the video doesn't do it justice...but yeah its out of a old cadillac that had 4 horns. I'm not exactly sure what year its in, by the end of they day i'll let ya'll know what years they had em in. There called the 4 note horn

I need new horns bad! Mine is wet and nasty...I don't even use it. I don't want air just yet...just need smoethign inbetween!

Alright sorry i wasn't around all day to respond. But anyway.. The caddy 4 note horn you'll need the 4 horns n the 4 pig tails. U'll need to unplug the old horn n remove them from the truck since u won't be useing them anymore. Also remove your airbox, then pull the wiring harness for the horn out to where u can see the connecter and cut the connector off for your orginal horn. From their u're going 2 need to run 4 wires off of your orginal horns power and ground. Then Splice in your each of the caddy horn pig tails. That was just a ruff sum up i'll post a complete get up tomarrow with picture of how i wired it and where i mounted it.

Very Simple mod that makes a big diffrence beats the hell out of stock haha

oh yeah and very important when putting the air box back in don't pull your hose for your over flow off
