Icon8 Radiator Problems

I flushed my radiator this weekend and put a jug of Prestone 50/50 in. It started leaking so I pulled the plug all the way out and the rubber seal was bad so I got a new plug. I filled it back up and went to bed. I got up for school and checked it again. The reservoir was empty and I could barely see any fluid under the radiator cap however, the plug on the bottom was bone dry. My dad says that I should have put more than one jug of fluid in it, that the cylinders needed to fill up. Is this true?

Yes its true. The Radiator in your ranger typically take more than 2 jugs of coolant. You just don't have enough in there yet.
